Our card ministry reaches those people who are sick, having upcoming surgery, or recuperating from sickness or injury, down in the dumps, missing a recently departed loved one, or just someone who needs some uplifting.... The cards bring joy to those who attend and those whom we are familiar with. A few ladies meet once a month to address and send these cards.
Our Winter Warm-up Soup Sale is still going on… Please spread the word and bring in your order forms. You can give them to me or Marion or Margaret or Marnie… or just give me a ring with your order or even just email me back… whichever way is easiest for you. Also, if you cannot make it to the church on the distribution date… your soup can be stored in the refrigerator until Sunday morning.
Boxes for the Troops… We have a praise report. Jess H. has returned from his tour of duty overseas and I hear Justin will be home for good also, sometime this spring! But, we still have two fellows that are serving their country far away from home and family. I will be mailing out their packages around the 22nd of this month. So, bring in what you can between now and then. Some homemade cookies would be greatly appreciated. Just make your favorite recipe and send in a dozen for the guys!

Easter is fast approaching…along with SPRING (yippee!!!) and our Easter Egg Hunt. Please bring in candy donations and make them small enough to go into the plastic eggs. Like tootsie rolls, or lifesavers… individually wrapped….. We will be stuffing them on the 13th during the ladies meeting. So if you can help – please have them to the church by then… (Sunday am… Thursday at AWANA….. )
I thank each of you for your help with all of these projects. Just a little from everyone makes them all a success! Each of these projects is very important in their own way, be it raising money to support our missionaries – or just bringing a touch of home to someone far away!
