The DivorceCare program is designed to help participants face the challenges associated with being separated or divorced and move toward rebuilding their lives. The program meets weekly for thirteen weeks from 6:30 – 8:00 pm.
Each weekly session begins with the group watching a video seminar featuring top experts on divorce and recovery subjects. After viewing the video, DivorceCare group participants spend time as a support group, discussing what was presented in that week’s video seminar and what is going on in their lives. New participants can join the group at any time and there is a $15 registration fee. Scholarships are available for those with financial need.
Additionally on Thursday, Smyrna Wesleyan offers the AWANA program from 6 -8 pm for children birth through 6th grade and Taking Ground Ministry for youth in 7th -12th grade. Participants of DivorceCare with children are encouraged to enroll them in the age appropriate related ministry (Please see the AWANA page for more information). For additional information, contact the facilitators Jeff Boatwright 302-943-1313 or Marion Boatwright 302-943-1311.
